Eloise Floyd Underwood Obituary

Eloise Floyd Underwood (72) passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at her home in Baldwyn. She was employed at several different factories in the area, cooked at many convenient stores and ran cars with her husband in the car business until his death in 1996. She enjoyed cooking, going to casinos, fishing, cross stitching and watching redbirds. Her biggest passion was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services are 3 pm Sunday, December 1, 2024 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Merle Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Prentiss Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-3 pm Sunday in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Eloise is survived by her son, Eric Underwood (Gina); her brother, Merle Floyd (Reba); her sisters, Jennie Ryland and Mary Ann Wren; her grandchildren, Penny, Alex, Bella and Joey and her special friend for over 30 years, Reba McCoy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Eula Floyd; her husband, Ladale Underwood; her son, Jamie Underwood; her brother, Hubert Floyd and her sisters, Betty Stanford, Daisy Cook, Nettie Prittchet and Myrtie Brown.

Her nephews will serve as her pallbearers.
