Wendell Walker, 81, of Bethel, passed away on November 27, 2024. Wendell was born July 2, 1943 in Simon, WV, to the late VanBuren Sr. and Leatha Pearl Walker.

Wendell was the loving husband of Doris Walker (nee Dunigan). Beloved father of James Walker (Kimberly), Michael Walker, and Jason Walker (Megan). Grandfather of Lauren Walker (Jake Jimenez), Landen Walker, Brenna Walker, and Joy Walker. Brother of Marvin Walker (Janet), Murness Walker (Zola), VanBuren Walker Jr.(Joyce), Earlie Walker, Irene Hampton (Bill), Anna Lee Warrington (Orville) Eveleen Queen (Bill), and Loreda Braden (Orlando). 

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Wendell was a lifelong servant of the Lord. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to car shows and showing his classic mustang , fishing and traveling. He spent time in his early life as the head groundskeeper at Crosley field for the Cincinnati Reds. He was known by all of his family and friends for his wonderful sense of humor and kind heart. His memory will live on through the kindness and loving spirit he shared with all of those who he met.

Services will be held at Mt. Holly Christian Chapel 2141 E. Ohio Pike (St. Rt. 125) Amelia, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 11:30 AM.
