MUNCIE - Janet Elaine (Foust) Collins, 83, passed peacefully on November 27, 2024 at Morrison Woods.

Janet was born in Anderson, Indiana to Harley and Marie (Curts) Foust on January 11, 1941.

Janet attended Vermillion Christian Church where she and her husband Robert were active members. She was very crafty and was excellent at sewing and crocheting. She was also a very good cook and loved to bake. After her husband retired, they enjoyed traveling and bird watching. Later in life she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and word searches.

Janet leaves behind her daughter, Debbie Turner (Chad Williamson); her son, Tony Collins (Tracy); her grandchildren, Brittany, Andrew, Spencer, Cole and Garrett; and six great grandchildren.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Marie Foust; her husband, Robert E. Collins on August 2, 2023, to whom she was married for 64 years; her brother, Gene Foust; and sister Nila Hunt.

A special thanks goes out to Morrison Woods and Southern Care Hospice for the outstanding care and compassion given to Janet and her family throughout her stay.
