Michael Clarence Bennett, 66, of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

He was born on January 16, 1958, in Cartersville, to the late Clarence Bennett and the late Lula Bell Hufstetler Bennett. Michael is also preceded in death by his wife, Belinda Ledford Bennett; and his siblings, Joe Bennett, Catherine Martin, Carolyn Goss, Sue Bell, Jody Hensley, and Shirley James.

Michael was a kind, loving, family man who adored his children and grandchildren. He was a very generous person who would give anybody anything in their time of need. His dogs, Killer, Pappy, and Jake were his closest and dearest companions.

Survivors include his son, Michael (Tub) Bennett; daughters, Lynn Cantrell (Jackie) and Crystal Bennett; grandchildren, Ashley Craig (David), Haley Lopez (William), Christopher Bennett, Reagan Bennett, Abigail Bennett, Coye Lee (Krystle), Tyler Bennett (Kassidy), Tay White (Kaylee), Camren White (Jade), Vincent White (Jayden), and Tray White (Lydia); numerous great grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Dunagan (Mike).

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2024, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Josh James officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, prior to the funeral.
