Shirley Dean Wilkerson Obituary

Shirley Dean Wilkerson, age 88, of Halls passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at West Tennessee Healthcare of Dyersburg, TN. Shirley was born May 28, 1936, in Curve, TN. She is the daughter of the late Edward Lee Richardson and the late Carmon (White)  Lemons.


She retired from Bellsouth.


Shirley is survived by her two sisters: Diane (Andy) Seat of Gates, TN and Carolyn Richardson of AL, and two brothers: Billy Ray Lemons of Covington, TN and Marshall Richardson of AL. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.


She is preceded in death by her son, Ricky Wilkerson; sister, Betty Faye Johnson, and three brothers: Robert Richardson, Wesley Lemons, and Thomas Richardson.


The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN with Rev. Jerry Lynn Lemons and Bro. Andy Isbell officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery 3715 Concord Rd., Gates, TN.
