Richard E. Elliott, age 70 of Venus died 11/27/24 at the Butler Hospital.

Born in Clarion, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Mary Elliott.

Rick was married on October 5, 1975 to Cindy Sue Best Elliott and she preceded him in death on July 26, 2021.

He worked as a bridge inspector and was project manager for the State of Pennsylvania. He was a 1973 graduate of Clarion High School, loved hunting and the outdoors. He also enjoyed hunting deer and turkey. In addition he loved singing and playing the guitar.

Rich is survived by a daughter Amy Lynn Whitney and her husband Richard of Corsica, PA, a brother Robert Elliott of Clarion, several step grandchildren, a nephew and great niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, his Uncle Ed Elliott, and Aunt Linda.

As per family wishes there will be no visitation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory in Clarion.
