Jerald “Jerry” R. Michels passed away early morning on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI, at the age of 73.

Jerry was born and grew up in Austin, Minnesota to Russell and Mary Michels. He graduated from Austin Pacelli High School in 1969 and enlisted into the U.S. Marines, then spent most of his career as an IT Project Manager for A.C. Nielsen before ending his career at the VA.

For the last 25 years he lived in Adams County, WI, where he enjoyed boating, fishing, water skiing, and golf. He especially enjoyed the company of his son, Matthew, and dog, Molly.

He is survived by his son, Matthew; brother, Bob; and sister, Elizabeth.
