Bettie Lee Zunk, age 93, passed away at Rivergate Terrace in Riverview, MI late Wednesday, November 27, 2024. She was born January 17, 1931 in Richmond, VA, daughter of Andrew and Nannie Catherine (Bryant) Walker. She retired from the General Motors Livonia plant after more than 20 loyal years of sewing upholstery. She enjoyed woodworking and crafts in general. She also enjoyed shopping, flea markets, and finding unique jewelry and clothing. She enjoyed family the most.

Bettie is survived by 5 children: Johnny Delano of Pulaski, TN, Sandra Caron of Belleville, MI, Cindy Conklin of New Boston, MI, Sherry Zunk of Belleville, MI, and Carole (Ron) Brown of Highland, MI; 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, a brother William Leo (Sandra) Walker of Tecumseh, MI, also numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son William Gordon Botkin, a grandson Robert Cottingham, a sister Norma Jean Gould, a son-in-law Keith Conklin, and a daughter-in-law Judy Delano. 

Visitation will be from 11- 4 PM Sunday, December 1, 2024, with a 2  PM funeral service officiated by minister Andrea Biggs at David C. Brown Funeral Home, 460 E. Huron River Dr., Belleville, MI 48111-2764.
