Glenda Hawsey, age 80 of Andalusia passed away November 28, 2024 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 30th at Greentree Christian Fellowship Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Rev. John Eiland will officiate and the eulogy will be given by her son, Tracy Hawsey. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Chase Hawsey, Jared Hawsey, Chris Blantz, and Shawn Hammonds. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Left to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 65 years, Jimmy Hawsey; son, Tracy Hawsey (Ericca) of Andalusia; brother, Glen Tatum of Gantt; sister, Jayne Anderson of Andalusia; grandchildren, Chase Hawsey (Lindsay), Jared Hawsey (Amber), Cameron Mann (Lauren), Cory Hawsey (Stephanie), Seth Hawsey; several great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Rachel Hawsey.

She was preceded in death by a son, Tony Hawsey in 2020.

Glenda also affectionately known as NinNin was full of Life, Love and Laughter. She Loved Jesus, she loved her family, and just people in general. She loved telling others about Jesus and hosted many a Bible study and ladies group at her home. She called often with a word of encouragement and to pray over us. Many of us have benefited from her love of food both cooking it and eating it. We will always have Nin Nin’s banana pudding as a staple to forever remind us of her love.
