Domenico A. “Dom” Cipriani, age 89, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at his residence. Born in Erie on July 11, 1935, he was the son of the late Angelo and Mafalda (Amendola) Cipriani.
Dom was employed by General Electric for over 35 years as a supervisor and foreman. His remarkable dedication and work ethic was evidenced by his meticulous home and garden. Dom was a talented woodworker and wine maker.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Joanne (D’Annibale) Cipriani, who devotedly cared for him and never left his side, a brother, John R. Cipriani, a sister, Palma “Pam” Ayars, husband Bill, nieces and nephews, Laura Rothrock, husband Kirk, Karen Cottrell, husband Larry, David Cipriani, wife Mary Jarvie, Ann Bonitatibus, Andrea McMullen, husband Greg, and Carla Willow, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Dahlkemper.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister-in-law, Judy Cipriani and a brother-in-law, Joseph B. Dahlkemper.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 4th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th St. Services will be held there on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church.. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
