It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Marie Oracewski on November 28, 2024, at the age of 61. She was a native and resident of Long Island. Lisa was a loving wife and mother and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. Her radiant smile lit up any room she entered. She enjoyed going to the beach, dancing, and traveling. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved cat, Rusty and grand pups, Albie and Rosie. Although Lisa is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.

She worked as a service administrator for Telephonics Corporation/ TTM Technologies in Farmingdale, NY for almost 40 years. She was well respected by her colleagues, and she met many friends who she considered family along the way.

Lisa is survived by her husband and love of her life, Michael; her children, Ashley and Brandon; her daughter-in-law, Megan; and brother, Billy.

Preceded in death by parents, Francis and Renee, and in-laws, Bernard and Dorothy.

Visitations will be held Friday, December 6, 2024, from 3:00 - 5:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm at Chapeys Funeral Home in West Islip, NY.

The family would appreciate it if you would consider adding comments and photographs that you may have to honor Lisa’s memory. She has met so many incredible people over the years.

We feel that a lot more research and awareness need to be made about this extremely rapid, aggressive cancer.
