Ricky Todd Brinkley, 63, of Corydon, passed away Wednesday November 27, 2024 at his home.

He was born March 14, 1961 to Everett and Shirley (Trumper) Brinkley.

Rick graduated from Corydon High School with the class of 1979. After high school he attended UNI for one year then transferred to Graceland University for 2 years where he graduated with an arts degree.

He enjoyed many things throughout life which included fishing, playing card games, watching old movies and television shows, and yard work with his family members.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Shirley and Ralph Alshouse, brothers, Greg (Ronda) Brinkley and Terry (Teresa) Brinkley, nephew, Travis, niece, Traci (Garrett) Reynolds, great nephews, Garrison and Hutton, aunt, Betty Moore, cousins, Kevin Hampton, Kyle Hampton, Rhonda Fee, Becky Burns, and Gary Trumper as well as extended family and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Everett Brinkley, grandparents, John Brinkley and Beulah Trumper, uncles, Max Trumper, Glenn Trumper and Jesse Roberts, aunt, Twila Hampton, and cousin Harold Roberts.

Funeral service will take place Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 11:00 am at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon, Iowa with Interment to immediately follow at Corydon Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon. Memorials may be made to The Family of Rick Brinkley and mailed to Thomas Funeral Home 303 E.
