Rev. Cecil L. Dutton, age 87 of Austell, died Thursday, November 28, 2024.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, December 2, 2024, in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna with Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Burial will be in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Rev. Dutton was a member of The Second Baptist Church of Smyrna where he served as the Pastor of the Church for 51 Years before retiring. He was a member of the Model A Restorers Club and The Small Engine Club. Rev. Dutton was a member of the Light Brothers Quartet, where he played the banjo.
Survivors include: Wife- Jane Dutton of Austell, Son and Daughter in Law- Tony and Renee Dutton of Temple, Daughter and Son in Law- Vicki and Joel Baker of Mableton, , 4 Grandchildren- Hannah Williams (Paul), Jared Dutton, Evan Baker (Evie), and Belinda Maloy (Derek), 10 Great Grandchildren.
