Jean Jones Rogers, age 82, of Moravian Falls, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Atrium Health-Wilkes Medical Center. She was born August 4,1942 in Wilkes County to Thurman and Rachel Mae Welborn Jones. Jean was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; and brother, Glen Jones.

Those surviving is her spouse, Clyde Rogers; daughters, Jackie Stanley of North Wilkesboro, Willie Walsh and spouse Bill of North Wilkesboro; son, Gerald Jones and spouse Rhonda of Traphill; grandchildren, Jodanna Cook and spouse Steve of Statesville, Alex Jones of North Wilkesboro, Daniel Walsh of Mooresville; great granddaughter, Olivia Cook; brother, Mack Jones and spouse Debbie of Ennis; and sisters, Ina Reins and spouse J.V., Jo Ann Myers and spouse Ira, and Mary Jones all of Wilkesboro; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Moravian Falls Cemetery with Pastor Joe Sturgill officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brenner’s Children Hospital, 1 Medical Center Blvd. Winston Salem, NC 27157. Miller Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
