Lori Lorenda Braunton

July 15, 1976 – November 28, 2024

It’s with heavy hearts the family of Lori Braunton announces her passing on November 28, 2024 at the age of 48.

Cherished mother to Glen Garant and Scott Garant. Forever remembered by her siblings Rhonda Hooper (Don Nemeth), Carrie Japp, the late Marika Hooper, Candice Lee, Sherie Redick, and Michael Shea. Beloved daughter of Vanda Braunton (Peter Abel) and the late Douglas Braunton (2020) (survived by Darlene Braunton). Lori is predeceased by her step-father Ron Hooper (2000). Dear friend to Cherie Winter, Anthony Ireland, and Carrie & Jason Durden, and former partner to Camil Lessard.

Lori will be dearly missed by her furry friends Artyom and Missy.

She will be remembered by her extended family and friends.

Lori was a proud graduate of the University of Windsor. She was a truck driver for many years where she travelled the vast landscapes of Canada and the United States. Lori’s love of music was boundless. She was a talented musician, skilled in playing the flute, piccolo, and keyboard. Known for being strong-willed, kind, and loving, Lori had a big heart and was always there for those she cared about. Her legacy of strength, kindness, and love will continue on in all those who knew and loved her.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
