Shirley Ann Craven, 88, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at her residence in Franklin, IN.
She was born on December 2, 1935 in Peru, IN to Herman and Mildred (Puterbaugh) Cook. She married Robert B. Craven on June 10, 1956. He survives. Other survivors include her children Cheryl Watson (Ron), Mark Craven (Kim), Beth Craven, Cathy Craven; grandchildren Chris Barber (Rick), Ryan Watson (Kristin), Brett Watson (Jenn), Sean Watson (Ashley), Collin Ash, Sophie Wesselman, Codi Kenshol (Dan), Shelbi Vergauwen (Brian), Austin Mabbott; great-grandchildren Cody, Chayce (Keely), Reegan, Braxton, Derick, Crosby, and Charlotte Watson, Henry and Natalie Kenshol. She was preceded in passing by her parents; brother Bill Cook; and half sister Mary Smith.
Shirley worked for Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Company retiring after 35+ years of service.
She loved reading and spending time with her family.
A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at a later date. Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is handling arrangements.
