APPS, Jean Armistice (nee Rimkay)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at Bradford Valley Care Community on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 95 years of age. Beloved mother of Carolyn Blank (Ed) and Valerie Gallucci (Sam). Proud grandmother of Gabe, Stephanie, Chris, Michael, and Sebastian. Great-grandmother of Eliana, Jove, Luke, Alessia, and Kaia. Survived by her siblings; Jerry, Bob, and Sharon. Predeceased by her sisters Joan, Pat, and Sandy. Daughter of the late Leslie and Jenny Rimkay.

Mom was a selfless person with a big heart. She loved her family dearly and was always helping others. She loved and was loved by her church family. She was an excellent baker and cook, loved to dance, and was a beautiful artist. The family would like to thank all the nurses, PSWs, doctors, and administration staff at Bradford Care Community for their care and compassion over this past year. A very special thank you to our good friend, Kim Davis.

As per Jean’s wishes a private memorial service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
