Franklin Clyde "Moe" McAlister II, 75, of Ramseur, died Thursday, November 28, 2024 at his residence.
Moe was a 1967 graduate of Ramseur High School. He later earned an associates degree from Randolph Technical College, specializing in drafting. He went on to work at Eveready, later becoming Energizer, working with the company his entire career. Moe was a former member of the United States National Guard. He treasured playing music, especially with "Tapestry". He was an avid Tarheel fan, was an amazing cook and loved working out in his yard and garden. Moe loved life and had a great sense of humor, always speaking his mind. He loved spending time with his friends and family, but most of all, he loved spending time with his pets. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Clyde and Ruth Craven McAlister, as well as his sister, Pat M. Pate.
Survivors: wife of 49 years, Wanda Allred McAlister, of the home, daughters, Abby McAlister Littlefield and husband, Mike, of Holly Springs, Emily McAlister Hull and husband, Joseph, of Summerfield, and Kelly McAlister Davis and husband, Jeremy, of Apex, grandchildren, Peyton and Hadley Littlefield, Bryan and Carson Hull, and Warren Davis, brother, John McAlister of Asheboro, and sister, Jo Cohen and husband, Derek, of Surf City, brother-in-law, Phillip Pate of Staley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
