Joanna Oleschuk Obituary

Joanna passed away peacefully at home on November 21, 2024. She was born in Ukraine daughter of John and Mary Dobza Bereza. She had a very fulfilling life. Joanna loved her family, gardening and her animals. She leaves behind five children, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She was a devoted member of St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church where she was a long time volunteer of their Pyrohy Project and a member of Sestrichi.

   Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Sunday December 1st from 4 - 7 PM in the Celentano Funeral Home 424 Elm St., New Haven. The Panikhida Service will be held at 6 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church 569 George St., New Haven Monday December 2nd at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
