His love of Se Jong Tae Kwon Do started in 1985 and he eventually achieved a 5th degree black belt and became an instructor of his own school. Se Jong Tae Kwon Do was one of Joe’s biggest passions and included members of his family and some of his best friends throughout his life.

Additionally, Joe was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, biking, hunting, camping at Cook Forest State Park, and a good golf game with friends.
