Charles Grieg Farren age 62 of Madison died on November 28, 2024 at David Simpson Hospice House of the Western Reserve. He was born on July 1, 1962 in Painesville to the late Charles Eugene and Audrey Virginia (nee: Wilcox) Farren. Grieg was a maintenance supervisor of Stretch Tape Inc in Cleveland for many years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.

Grieg is survived by his wife, Laura (nee: Dorrell) Farren; sisters, Pamm Catania and Sandra (Richard) DeGraff; nieces, Jill (Mike) Ripple, Shelli (Mark) Horabik, Hiedi Smola; nephew, Jeff (Carmen) Catania; great nieces and nephews, Serena (Colin) Kramer, Mark Horabik, Mackenzi Horabik, Mike Smola, Jeff (Kayleigh) Smola, and Anthony (Haley) Smola; great great nieces and nephews, Nancy, Julie, and Lucy, Avery, Charlotte, Frankie, Ryland, and Eleanor.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 2-4PM at Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 44077. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve at www.hospicewr.org
