Clarence Charles Hoefert died at the age of 86 on November 25th, 2024 in Lacey, Washington. He is survived by his wife Marlys; they were married for 67 years. He is also survived by his three children; Jeff, Brett and Teresa (Dan Birklind), seven grandchildren, Shaun Hoefert (Jera); Portland, Oregon, Shannon; Potland, Oregon, Chris; Portland, Oregon, Nick Birklid (Callie); Tumwater, Washington, Nathan Birklid (Erin); Shelton, Washington, Neal Birklid; Shoreline, Washington. As well as, five great-grandchildren; Brenton, Raylie, Ronan, Hadley, and Lucus. His is also survived by his sister Betty Twedt, and brother Allen Hoefert. Preceded in death are his parents Clarence and Severa Hoefert; brothers, Lou and Rick; sisters, Darlene and Arlene.

Clarence was in the Army at Ft. Sill Oklahoma, and the South Dakota National Guard. He was a union member at Boeing 751 IAM, where he worked and retired after 30 years of service. He had lived in retirement for 24 years in Mason County.
