The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Leamon Kendrick, Jr. Mr. Leamon Kendrick, Jr., age 90 of Clifty, passed away on Wednesday, November 27th at his home. Leamon was born February 7, 1934 in Vicksburg, Mississippi son of the late Leamon Kendrick, Sr. and Ruby Farley Kendrick. He was a member of the Trinity General Baptist Church, a Veteran who served in the US Army, retired school bus driver and was a firefighter for the Clifty Volunteer Fire Department where he was a former chief for 18 years. He loved his family and enjoyed woodworking and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Kendrick and a brother, Eugene Kendrick. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Kendrick of Clifty; five sons, Robert Kendrick (Cathy) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Mark Kendrick (Marsha) of Smyrna, Tennessee, Eddie Kendrick (Kim) of Gallatin, Tennessee, Chris Kendrick (Alisa) of Crossville, Tennessee and Daniel Latham (Kimberly) of Russellville; two daughters, Brenda Powell and Barbara Purcell (David) both of Clifty; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Visitation with the Kendrick family will be on Saturday, November 30th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverends Autry Moore, Richard Day and Roger Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at the Bivins Cemetery in Clifty with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity General Baptist Church, 12160 Greenville Road, Elkton, KY 42220.
