Rosemarie Blackmon Brady Brown, 87, formerly of Clymer Pa, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning,  November 26, 2024 at Beacon Ridge, with family by her side.

Rose was born April 13, 1937 in Lackawanna, NY to Howard Wesley Blackmon and Anne McLaughlin Blackmon.

Rose was employed for several years in the Housekeeping Department of Indiana Hospital until her retirement in 1998. She loved spending time with her family, crocheting afghans, watching her favorite old movies, and going on many impromptu road trips with her husband. 

Rose married her first husband, Millard Harry "Pete" Brady on October 20, 1956 in Blasdell NY and they moved to Clymer in October of 1962. Pete passed away in a car accident on November 8, 1962, leaving behind Rose, 3 small children and one on the way. Rose met her second husband, Frank C. Brown while working at the hospital and they were married July 20, 1979.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Rose is preceded in death by her brother Edward J. Blackmon and sisters Margaret and Elizabeth Blackmon, her oldest son Wayne M. Brady, sons in law Lawrence J. Gaston, Roger Bartlebaugh, and grandsons Joseph A. Gaston and Paul A. Brady.

Surviving are her husband of 45 years,  Frank C. Brown of Indiana Pa,  daughters, Wanda D. Gaston, of Marion Center and Patricia A. (Randy) Rusnak, of Sidman, son Pastor Scott B. (Sharlin) Brady, of West Columbia SC. stepdaughters Jodi L. Bartlebaugh, of Indiana, Jeannette M. (Kevin) Errett, of Jeannette PA, and Jennifer R. Decker, of Homer City, and stepson, Jeffrey H. (Doris) Brown, of Clarksburg, Grandchildren Jason Gaston, Melissa Gaston Troup, Scott Brady Jr, Bethany Brady Sehorne, Christina Brady, Katelyn Brady, Brandon Decker, Laken Decker Rowland, Reece Decker Andrew Brown, Kristy Brown Waltz and Joel Brown. 19 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Granddaughters. 

Friends and family will be received at John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana Pa on Monday Dec. 2, 2024 with visitation from 10 am. until the time of service at 12 pm.

Interment will be held at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana Pa.
