Sylvia Perez, born on July 28, 1946, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024. She was a devoted mother, grandmother of 40, great-grandmother of 25, sister, and a passionate servant of the Lord. Sylvia’s life was defined by her love for her family, her faith, and her deep commitment to sharing the word of God. She was a beloved Pentecostal member who dedicated her life to preaching the gospel and inspiring others with her unwavering faith.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her granddaughter Karmelita Yzaguirre, brother Guadalupe Arispe Jr., and parents, Guadalupe Arispe and Agustina Garcia.
Sylvia is survived by her daughters Rosalee Perez, Augustina Yzaguirre (Toby), and Mary Gonzalez; her sons Daniel Soto (Laura), Joey Soto (Martha), Anthony Soto (Monica), Mark Perez (Elsa), and Elijah Perez (Liz) and her brother Steve Arispe. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a legacy of love that will continue to impact all who knew her.
A visitation and prayer service will be held in her honor on December 4, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service at 6:00 PM. The funeral service will continue December 5, 2024, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by a chapel service at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Elijah Perez, Mark Perez, Toby Yzaguirre, Joshua Perez, Carlos Constante, and Matthew Perez.
Sylvia’s love for travel and her ministry will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her. She leaves behind a profound legacy of faith, love, and devotion to the Lord. May she rest in peace.
