Christine McLain Holloway, 85, a homemaker, died November 27, 2024, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, AR. Graveside services are 11:00am Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lyon, MS with burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lyon, MS. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.

Christine was a member of New Vision Church of God and Lurand Homemaker Club. Christine was also a published author of poetry.

Survivors include her daughters Bonnie (Raymond) Clifton, DeLois (Wyman) Morgan, Patricia (Miles) Hulsey; brothers Luther McLain, Mack McLain, Ricky McLain; sisters Mary Helen Hood, Delilah Pollan; grandchildren Christina Donnelly, Loren (Tyler) Murry, Miles Hulsey, Rachel Hulsey; great grandchildren Sarah Waters, Avery Murry, Reid Murry; great-great grandchildren Donnie & Mikey.

Preceded in death by her parents Luther & Rennie McLain; husband Elijah Brown Holloway; brothers L.A. McLain, R.A. McLain (twin brothers), Pete McLain; sister Ila Tennyson; son-in-law Miles Hulsey.
