Pearl Zimmerman (nee Schoenbeck), age 96, of West Bend, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehab in West Bend.

Pearl was born on March 11, 1928, in West Bend, to Fred and Irene Schoenbeck (Eickstedt). Pearl was united in marriage to Harold Zimmerman on July 16, 1949, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church on Pleasant Valley Road.

She worked at Habeck Drycleaning in West Bend as a seamstress and in one-hour Martinizing. Pearl was a beloved and longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Bend. She enjoyed dancing and polka music, and most of all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always the first one to put a smile on someone’s face. Though she said it like it was, it was always out of love with her quick wit, and humor to boot.

Pearl is survived by her daughter, Debbie (John) Butschlick; two grandchildren, Renee (Scott) Altendorf, and Jamie (Jenny Stoffel) Butschlick; three great-grandchildren, Quentin Butschlick, Kylee Altendorf, and Kaedan Altendorf. She is further survived by sister-in-law, Pearl Schoenbeck, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold; an infant daughter, Bonnie Lee; four sisters, two brothers; three brothers-in-law; and three sisters-in-law.

VISITATION: Pearl's life will be remembered on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church (809 S. 6th Avenue, West Bend) from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.

SERVICE: A funeral service in honor of Pearl will take place at 1:00 p.m. at church. Rev. Jeff Hesse will officiate. Burial will take place in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church Cemetery on Thursday immediately following the service.

Memorials to St. John's Ev. Lutheran WB Foundation (School Ministry in Memo Line) for student scholarships would be greatly appreciated by the family.
