Martha Hinds DelleDonna

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Martha Hinds DelleDonna, age 82, of North Bergen, NJ, who passed away on November 27, 2024. Born on December 19, 1941, in Paterson, NJ, Martha lived most of her life in North Bergen, where she built a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family.

Martha was predeceased by her beloved husband, John DelleDonna. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Michele McMane (DelleDonna), and son-in-law Michael McMane; her cherished grandchildren, Bryan Helm (Ariel Helm), Jeremy Helm (Brittany Helm), and Andrew McMane; and her adored great-grandchildren, Nolan, Zander, Logan, Gabby, and Harper. She is also survived by her beloved brother, Donald Hinds, and sister-in-law Angela Hinds. Martha was predeceased by her sister Nydia Ferrigno, and brother-in-law Richard Ferrigno.

Known for her generous spirit, Martha’s greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a passionate cook, creating meals that brought family and friends together. Martha’s love extended to her rescue cats, whom she cared for with the same tenderness she showed to her family.

A woman of warmth, strength, and grace, Martha will be remembered for her ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. She had an infectious sense of humor and a heart of gold, leaving behind a lasting impression on all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal rescue in Martha’s memory, reflecting her love for animals.

Martha's memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her.
