Ashlyn Kelley Trussell, 31, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in Hindman, Kentucky. 

Born December 10, 1992 in Harrison County, she lived in Carlisle until the age of 28 when she moved to Hindman where she resided at Treasured Friends until the time of her death. Ashlyn was known for her love of animals. There wasn’t a stray that she wouldn’t bring home with her and she was definitely known to bring in quite a few of them. 

Surviving are her parents, Kelley & Tammy Cronan Trussell; her sister, Kristen Trussell (Garrison Miles) ; her nephew, Kason Trussell; her nieces, Charleigh & Parker Scott; aunts & uncles, Linda & Gary Sibert and Allie & Virgie Trussell; cousins: David (Crystal) Sibert, Nikki (Jerry Wayne) Watkins, Anna Fryman, Frances Trussell, Peggy (John) Jolly & Michael Trussell; second cousins: Trenton & Logan Campbell, Hannah & Jenna Watkins, Courtney (Chris) Sibert, Payton & Avery Sibert, Skylar Fryman, Damien & Elisha Crawford, Shelby (Spencer) Adams & Zayden Salyers; a third cousin, Evelyn Neace; and special friends, Dustin, Madison & Naomi Scott.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John H. & Virginia Cronan and Robert S. & Roger Trussell; her great-aunts, Willa & Louisa Wagoner; and her cousin, Randy Fryman.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 4th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Steve Smith with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery. 

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday.
