I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing. II Timothy 4:7-8
Ms. Peatrice Ann Addison, also known as Chee Chee or Chee was born in Lumberton North Carolina on September 20, 1973. She departed this earthly world on November 26, 2024, at Grand Strand Reginal Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Chee was raised in Fairmont, North Carolina and attended the public schools of Robeson County where she graduated from Fairmont High School with the class of 1992. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends and family. She was always giving a helping hand whenever needed. She did not let her disability stop her from doing anything that she desired to do or stop her from going anywhere she wanted to go. She kept a smile on her face therefore you never knew what burdens she may have carried.
Chee was a faithful member of the Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Fairmont, North Carolina. She joined this body of Christ on May 24, 1987 and was baptized on May 31, 1987. During her younger years she sang on the youth choir and enjoyed her duty as a youth usher. She felt the need to and rededicated her life on December 19, 2021. Recently, she served as a Greeter at the Star and she assisted with the Culinary Department as a Server, Cook and in what ever capacity she was needed. Her personality was one that suited the positions she served in at the Star and also in the community, therefore she will be remembered by her beautiful smile.
Chee is survived by her mother, Carolyn "Pete" Moore and father Donald Moore; her children who were her pride and joy Ta'Maya Moore and Destin Moore; both of Fairmont, North Carolina. Three brothers, Toby Addison and Mitchell Addison of Fairmont, North Carolina and Montrell Williams of Orrum, North Carolina; one sister, Jazmin Moore Glover (Aaron) of Pembroke, North Carolina; seven aunts: Jacquelyn McCrimmon, Wanda Addison both of Fairmont, North Carolina, Cheryl Locklear (Timothy) of Raleigh, North Carolina; Bessie Thompson, Patricia Moore, Antoinette Moore, all of Fairmont, North Carolina, Sallie Lidge and Edna Lidge of Dillon, South Carolina; one uncle, Eddie Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida, god-daughter Malika Baldwin; twelve nephews, four nieces and two great nephews and a host of cousins.
