Judith A. Helbach, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at American Grand in Neenah, where she resided for the past three years. On January 25, 1944, Judith Ann, was born in Neenah to Gordon and Fleurette (Boss) Parker. During her younger years, she enjoyed bartending with her sisters at their father’s establishment “Gord’s Bar” in Neenah. Judy had met John Helbach and they married in 1966. Together they raised three daughters. She volunteered many hours as a Pink Lady at Theda Clark and for St. Margaret Mary School. Going to the Casino to play the slot machines was one of her favorite getaways. Judy loved Archie’s popcorn with a Diet Coke and watching the Packers. She was very fond of the outside cats that roamed around the neighborhood as well as the ducks and enjoyed feeding them. While at American Grand, she made many friends and enjoyed their company. Most of all, spending time with her daughters and their families was her greatest joy.
Judy will be greatly missed by her loving daughters: Paula (William) Bunnell, Ronda (Gordon) Westphal, and Tina (Marty) Bradle; her grandchildren: Whitney (Ryan) Lueder, Brad (Chelsie) Bunnell, Barbie (Josh) Schultz, Matthew and Nicole Westphal, Jonny and Jenny Bradle; 9 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters and her in-laws.
It was Judy’s wish to have a private family service.
Judy’s family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at American Grand, especially to Carrie Lehrer and Joan Scott and the staff of St. Croix Hospice for the kindness and amazing care and support given to Judy. They would also like to thank her special friend, Norman for his friendship over the years.
