Romelda Moffett Obituary

Ms. Romelda Moffett entered into Heaven on November 27, 2024. She was met there by her parents Claude and Louise Garber, her son Bryan Sterling, and her brother Brad Garber.  She is missed here on earth by her daughter and son-in-law, Chassity and Keith Smith, her grandchildren Ethan Hodge, Erynn Smith, and Evan Smith, her brother and sister-in-law Alden and Sharon Garber, her sister and brother-in-law Sissie and Jimbo Ingram, her brother Bubba Garber, her sister and brother-in-law Andrea and Alan Ingram and her sister-in-law, Sherry Garber.

She will also be missed by the caring staff of Mexia LTC where she spent her final years.

She is remembered as a sweet lady with a huge heart.  She told everyone that she loved them when she would say goodbye.  We will say "goodbye, I love you" one last time on December the 1st at 2pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Mexia, where she attended most of her life, with Reverend Raymond Tear and Pastor Coit Willis, officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Glade Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service, starting at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Her life was not without struggle, but she never lost her faith.  May she be remembered as a testimony to God's unfailing Love.

Serving as pallbearers are Josh Ingram, James Ingram, Kreig Ingram, Kody Ingram, Nick Nichols and Case Nichols.  Honorary pallbearer is Bo Ingram.
