Carmelo Lenzo Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carmelo Lenzo, a beloved father, father-in-law, and grandfather, on November 27, 2024, at the age of 91, born on Jan 1st, 1933, in San Fratello, Sicily. Carmelo lived a full and vibrant life, marked by his deep love for family, and his passion for gardening.

Carmelo nurtured the land of his hometown before proudly serving in the Italian military. In 1972, seeking a brighter future, he immigrated to the United States with his beloved wife, Teresa, and their son Anthony. Together, they built a new life and legacy. Teresa passed away in 2006, leaving a void in Carmelo’s heart, but he remained steadfast and resilient.

Carmelo was preceded in death by his wife Teresa, he is survived by his son Anthony, his daughter-in-law Michele, and his adored grandson, Max, who brought immense joy to his life. His legacy of love, strength, and dedication will live on through them.

Carmelo will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family, his tireless work ethic, and the warmth he brought to those around him. May he rest in peace.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th, 2024 at Westchester Funeral Home Inc., at 190 Main Street, Eastchester, NY, 10709, from 4pm to 8pm.
