SEXTON, Doretta

Age 94, of Brookville, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sexton; parents, Clarence and Allie Horn; sister, Katie Owens. Doretta was known around town as “Grandma Hardware.” She is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Kim) Sexton; grandchildren, Skipper (Jennifer), Justin, and Shane (Brooke); great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Savannah, Allee, Eric, Hailee, and Ethan; great-great grandchild, Dixie; brother, Walter (Nora) Horn; numerous nieces and nephews; special nephew, Ivan Puckett. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Hospice of Dayton Nurses and Aids for their help through this difficult time. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3rd at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME 950 ALBERT RD. BROOKVILLE. Funeral services to follow at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday.
