Robert “Bob” Butts, 79, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville. He was born in Brazil, Indiana on May 3, 1945 to the late William and Ximinia “Susie” (Stewart) Butts. Bob graduated from Brazil High School in 1963, and married Wanda Jenkins on December 26, 1965. Bob and Wanda were members of the Ebenezer Church in Brazil. He worked in logistics for IBM.

Bob loved all things sports! He spent his free time coaching with the Clay Youth League and YMCA, as well as cheering on the Hoosiers and Colts. He enjoyed traveling with Wanda, spending time with his family, and playing cards. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, and his infant brother John.

Survivors include his son, Michael (Libby) Butts; daughter, Tracy (Tim) Brunette; grandchildren, Kayla (Cole) Dickison, Zebb (Sydni) Butts, Emily Chiles, Clara (Vershon) Terry, Greg Brunette. Megan Brunette, and Jacob (Haylee) Brunette; great-grandchildren, Rylan Lumsdon, Karter Brunette, Kasen Holifield, Sapphira Terry, Maxwell Dickison, Julian Butts, Jersey Brunette, Bexley Dickison, Bonnie Butts, Brian Brunette, and Maelynn Chiles.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 7, 2024 in the Bill Webster Memorial Chapel at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
