Constance F. Glasslee, “Connie”, age 57, of Saginaw and Canada Creek Ranch, died on Saturday October 20, 2018 at her home in Northern Michigan. The daughter of Richard and Eva (Carpenter) Perry, Constance was born in Flint on October 9, 1961, was raised in Atlanta, and graduated from Atlanta High School in 1979. Connie married James H. Glasslee on May 23, 1981 and they made their home in Saginaw where Connie worked from home as a hairdresser. Connie’s love for the outdoors and nature was evident as she and Jim rarely missed a weekend at the home they built together at Canada Creek Ranch near Atlanta. Connie loved to take long walks through the woods, cross-country ski and ride snowmobiles on the wooded trails of Northern Michigan, and in the warm summer months she always enjoyed spending the day boating. A bit of an artisan, Connie and her sisters enjoyed making jewelry from antique silverware. With her cheerful disposition, Connie had many friends. She was devoted to her family, but also, with her caring heart, looked after everyone she knew. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, and a grandma who adored her grandchildren. Connie’s beautiful smile and zest for life will sadly missed and fondly remembered. Surviving Connie is her husband of 37 years, Jim Glasslee of Saginaw and Canada Creek Ranch; daughter, Sarah (Kyle) Moir of Williamsburg; son, Joe Glasslee of Saginaw; and the grandchildren who captured her whole heart, Addy and Jack. Connie also leaves her sisters, Linda Glenn of Canada Creek Ranch, Sherry Baker of Tennessee, and Roxanne Michiels of Florida. Connie was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at the Wesleyan Church, 2125 Shattuck Road, Saginaw, MI 48603 at 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 29, 2018. Pastor Bob Tibbits will officiate.
