Joyce A. Campbell, 91, of New Richmond, passed away at 10:00 a.m. on November 26, 2024, at Forest Hills Healthcare Center. She was born in Whick, Kentucky, on December 8, 1932, to the late Ervine and Alice (Turner) Allen.

She is survived by daughter, D. Marie (John) Campbell; goddaughter, Deirdre Long; a sister, Miriam Allen Little; two brothers: Ervine Allen Jr. and Ron (Suzi) Allen; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Campbell; son, Kevin Allen Campbell, four brothers: Charles Lindbergh (Wanda) Allen, Curtis Allen, Jesse Walter Allen, Doug (Joann) Allen; and two sisters: Lena Fae Allen and Lilliebelle Allen.

Joyce was a woman of unwavering faith, whose life was a testament to her Christian beliefs. She was a devoted wife, cherishing her marriage with love, patience, and kindness that inspired all who knew her. As a mother, Joyce’s heart was a wellspring of love and guidance, nurturing her children with wisdom and steadfast support. She was also a loving sister, always there with a listening ear and an open heart, creating bonds that time and distance could never weaken. Her days were filled with acts of compassion and selflessness, embodying the grace and humility that were central to her faith. Joyce’s life was a shining example of devotion and love, leaving a legacy that will be treasured by those she held dear.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Bridgeway Church (formerly Calvin Presbyterian Church), 1177 W. Ohio Pike, Amelia, OH 45102, where there will be an OES service just prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service.

Another visitation will be held from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Breathitt Funeral Home, 409 KY-15, Jackson KY, 41339, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Haddix Cemetery.
