Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024, Annette Chretien; age 96. Beloved wife of over 60 years to the late Maurice Chretien. Loving mother of Rene Chretien (Diane), the late Emile Chretien, the late Jean-Maurice Chretien, Francine Chretien (Gerard Andre), Guy Chretien (Pamela), Paul Chretien Chantal), and Julie Chretien. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Fabien Valade and Emelia Valade (nee Andre), her brothers Roland, Raymond, Andre, Zenon and Rene, and by her sisters Irene Valade and Fabiola “Bella” Paquin.


Visitations will be held at the Munro & Morris Funeral homes Ltd. (46 Oak Street, Lancaster) on Friday, November 29th, 2024 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, November 30th, 2024 at 11 am. As Expression of sympathy, memorial donation to Cornwall Community Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
