Marilyn Goetz of Westville, IN passed away Wednesday November 27, 2024 at the age of 94. She was born August 4, 1930 to Lois and Alden Beahm who both preceded her in death. On November 4, 1952 she married Robert Goetz who precedes her in death. Also preceding her in death is her brother William Beahm. Surviving are her children Robert (Julie ) Goetz, Sandra (Michael) Bell, James (Cheryl) Goetz, Terry (Jackie) Goetz, and Ronald (Donell) Goetz; Grandchildren Molly Gassensmith, Joseph Goetz, Brody Goetz, Luke Bell, Chandler Bell, Landon Goetz, and Sophie Goetz; Great Granchildren Augustus Goetz, Evelyn Gassensmith, and Noah Gassensmith; as well as many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was a 1948 graduate of Westville High School where she later worked for many years in the school cafeteria for Westville Schools where she was loved by all the students. Marilyn greatly enjoyed travelling, fishing, camping, and had a deep love for animals.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday December 3, 2024 from 9:30 AM till 11:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Otis, IN with a funeral service to follow at 11:30 AM. Burial will take place at a later date in Westville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to PAX Center in LaPorte or the Independent Cat Society.
