Evarista Cardona Cartagena, 87, of Keyport passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 after a brief illness. She was a Social Worker for Newark Preschool Council and a parishoner of Our Lady of Fatima (St. Joseph RCC) Keyport.
Evarista is survived by her loving daughters; Yvonne Melendez & Vangie Vargas; cherished grandchildren, Evita Pome & husband, Wilber Pome, Agustin Melendez & Charles Butler; dedicated Son-in-law, Osvaldo Melendez; adored great grandchildren; Gabriella and Makayla Pome.
Relatives and friends are invited Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 9-10:45 AM at the funeral home. A Mass will be offered 11 AM at St. Joseph RCC followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.
