LOUDONVILLE: Jane Irene Bible, 89, of Jeromesville passed away Tuesday evening, November 26, 2024, at Brethren Care Village in Ashland.

She was born on April 10, 1935, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to parents Clarence and Annie (Frembach) McCray. Jane married Harold Bruce Bible on May 8, 1958, and the pair were together for 31 years until his passing in March of 1989. She worked at Wooster Brush for 42 years and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Loudonville.

Jane was a very loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma and was very well-known for her baking and cooking. She truly enjoyed baking for everyone.

She is survived by her son Harold Bruce (Michelle) Bible; her daughter Teresa (Chuck) Gaines; her grandchildren Christopher (Lindsay) Gaines, April (Jeremy) Hudson, Harold Bruce Bible III, Adam (Sabrina) Bible, Lyndzy Donovan, Jami Butler, and Aiden Bible; her great-grandchildren Trenton and Tanner Gaines, Aubrey, Hayden and Chelsea Hudson, and Conner Butler; and her siblings Steve McCray of Wichita, KS and Fay Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Bruce Bible Sr.; her daughter Melinda Haney; her grandsons Michael Bible and Edward Bible; her siblings Hazel McCray, Bernard McCray, and Kathryn Lounsbury.

Jane’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home- Lindsey Chapel, Loudonville. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 10 a.m. with Father Rob Kreidler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
