Daniel Lee Todd, age 71, of Evansville, IN, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Heart to Heart Inpatient Hospice Center.

Dan was born April 29, 1953, in Evansville, IN, to Kenneth Lee and Jane Lois (Norris) Todd. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1971, earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Evansville, and earned his Master’s Degree from Indiana University. Dan was a longtime member of Crossroads Christian Church where he served as Scoutmaster for their Boys Scout Troop 322. He worked for 16 years at Big Rivers Electric Corporation before serving as president for his own company, AQS (Air Quality Services), which he operated for nearly 23 years. Dan was an avid fly fisherman, enjoying his annual guys’ fishing trips to Missouri and Eastern Tennessee. He enjoyed painting and traveling. Dan was proud of his sons, and he absolutely adored his grandkids.

Dan is survived by his sons, Matthew Todd (Christy) of Indianapolis, IN, and Kevin Todd (Liz) of Noblesville, IN; brothers, Douglas Todd (Cindy), Donald Todd (Charlene), and Dale Todd (Cyndi); grandchildren, Aiden, Weldu, Alyson, Caedmon, Mihret, and Graelyn; and many nieces and nephews.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Jane Todd; loving wife of 47 years, Gayle (McCarty) Todd, who passed away in 2020; sister, Debra Maxwell (David); and grandson, Jaron Todd.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. CST, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Jack Arney officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. CST, Monday, December 2, 2024, and from 10:00 a.m. CST until service time, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
