Gregory ‘Greg’ Howard, 68, of Delran, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on November 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of 42 years to Regina (nee Freitag); devoted father of Christine (Steven) Rowley and Lauren Howard; cherished ‘Pops’ of Mackenna and Brayden Rowley; dear son of the late James and Nancy (nee Bush) Howard and younger brother of the late James Robert ‘Bob'.

Being in a military family, Greg was born in Stuttgart, Germany and had the privilege of traveling the world and living in places such as Orléans France, Rancho Cordova CA, Kegley WV, and Pemberton NJ. He resided in Delran NJ since 1995 and was employed by AAFES (Army Air Force Exchange Service) in Fort Dix NJ as a government Foreman for 35+ years. 

A gentle and humble man, Greg was devoted to his family. He was an amazing dad who took pride in his daughters. His grandchildren brought him joy and he adored any time he got to spend with them.

Greg could be found fixing things around the house, working in the yard, or tinkering in the garage. If you had a project or needed something repaired, Greg was always willing to lend a helping hand. Some of Greg’s interests included listening to music (Rolling Stones, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver), watching John Wayne westerns, and anything history or Civil War related. Greg enjoyed cheering for the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers, and Sixers. He was also known for being an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, rooting for them alongside his father, brother, and daughters. Over the years, Greg shared many wonderful times with family, from holiday gatherings, summertime barbecues by the pool, to fun weekend trips to Warwick Woods campground.

Greg will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Greg's viewing on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 10AM-12PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 where his Funeral Ceremony will follow at 12PM. Interment will take place privately.
