Barbara Ann MacMillan(Lange) passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024, with family by her side at 87 years old.

She was born in North Bergen to Walter & Anna Lange. There she met her life-long friend at the age of 3, who later introduced her to her future husband, David G. MacMillan. They were happily married for 64 years until his passing in 2020.

Barbara started working at Macys as part time seasonal help, loved it, and ended up staying 28 years. She gladly participated in several Thanksgiving Day parades with friends and family.

She enjoyed playing Mah-jong weekly for the past 60 years. Going out with friends to concerts, plays, trips or a meal was always on her calendar. At home, going on boat or car rides around the lake followed by Sunday night dinners was a family tradition. She could often be found on golf cart rides around her beloved neighborhood or sitting on everyone's favorite side porch. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and “Barbara stories”.

Barbara was the loving mother to Patricia & Jay Goff, Linda MacMillan, David MacMIllan & Edwin Salgado, and Lori & Thomas Kelley. She is survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on December 7, 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford.
