Laverne Evelyn Beavers, age 86 of Smyrna, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018. A funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday October 25, 2018 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna. Interment will be held in Westview Cemetery. Mrs. Beavers was an Atlanta native graduating from West Fulton High School and was Past President of the Owls Club. She is preceded in death by her Husband Charles Beavers, daughter, Susan Morris and granddaughter, Erin McKenna Martin, She is survived by her son Charles Gregory (Mary) Beavers of Kennesaw, Daughter, Melinda Beavers (Tim) Martin of Alpharetta, son-in-law Johnny Morris of Smyrna, grandchildren, Zach (Beth) Martin, Megan Morris (Devon) Swim, Tyler Morris, Emily Morris, great-grandchildren, Xavier and Felicia Martin.
