Allen Gene Erlitz

Allen G. Erlitz, age 64, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Al was united in marriage to Sally Herrig on August 19, 1994. Al’s passion was his family and friends. Al is survived by his wife, Sally, of 32 years; his children Jeremy, Stephanie, Amber; his stepchildren Sue, Tom, Kathy, Kora; his siblings Bill, Don, Deb, Sheri, Cindee, Dave, and Annette. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Ila Pearl Erlitz. Al will be missed by family and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington, MN. Benson Funeral Home in Worthington is in charge of the arrangements.
