Daniel J. McVaigh, 58, of Dundas, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at his residence.  Daniel was born on September 7, 1960 in Olney, IL, the son of Leroy and Mary Alice (Rule) McVaigh.  Daniel worked in the coal mines for a few years and then worked for Illini Builders for 9 years. He loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter. Daniel loved his granddaughter, Norah, and would spend time fishing and riding four wheelers with her. The man, the myth, the legend will be forever missed by all those that knew him. Daniel is survived by his sons, Gabriel McVaigh of Olney and Zachary McVaigh of Olney; Mother, Mary Alice McVaigh of Olney; Granddaughter, Norah McVaigh of Olney.  He was preceded in death by his father.  Cremation rites were accorded.  No services will be held.
