Jerry R. Thomas 81, of Toler, KY passed away November 26, 2024 in Prestonsburg, KY. Jerry was born February 2, 1943 in Pikeville, KY to the late Frank and Elizabeth ( Adams) Thomas.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife; Joan (King) Thomas, two grandchildren, Sydney Thomas & Chloe Thomas; sisters, Sue Ratliff, Blanche Phillips, Donna Thomas & many precious relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Donovan Thomas, siblings, Christine Thomas, Peggy Thomas, Martin Thomas, Goble Thomas & Roy Thomas.

Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He supported his family as a truck driver. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. Jerry will be forever loved and missed by all.

The family will accept friends for visitation at the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel Friday, November 29, 2024 at 6:00 PM, with services beginning at 7:00 PM. The funeral will be at the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, November 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Bud Crum officiating all services. DAV Rites will be conducted by Elkhorn City Chapter #140. The burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Pikeville, KY.
