MILDRED ROWE Mildred “Milly” A. Rowe, age 92, of Mattoon passed away at 4:44 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. A private family service will take place at a later date. Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family. Milly was born on August 9, 1926 in Montrose, IL the daughter of Albert and Christine (Czerwonka) Weber. Survivors include her daughter, Marcia S. (Harold Richard) Haverty; sister, Benetia Brady; niece, Cindy Brady, great-niece, Krista Armstrong and great- nephew Matthew Buesking. She was preceded in death by her parents. Milly attended Utterbach Business College and went on to graduate from Eastern Illinois University. She worked for Illinois Consolidated Telephone Company, Wilson Roofing Company, Combined Insurance Company of America, and worked as the office manager at Schilling Funeral Home. Milly would later retire from Walmart. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter, visiting many scenic national parks out west.
