Laura DiFabio Obituary

Laura DiFabio, 78, passed away October 20, 2018 peacefully at Overlook Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Monteferrante, Itay, she lived in Cranford for 53 years. Friends are invited to visit Tuesday 4pm-8pm at the Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave. West in Cranford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 9:30am at St. Michaels Church in Cranford. Laura had been a seamstress. An active member of St. Michaels, she was a founding member of the Padre Pio Prayer Group in Cranford as well as a member of the Rosary Society at St. Anne’s Church in Garwood. She was predeceased by her daughter Susanna Melise. Surviving are her husband Antonio, son Emilio(Karen), sister Maria Nardizzi, son-in-law Tony Melise, 3 granddaughters Emily, Gianna, and Sofia, many cherished nieces and nephews, as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Cranford First Aid Squad.
